NEED SOME PEACE
Peace doesn't come easy, does it? This broken world seems to delight in shattering our dreams of a whole, complete life. Fear, anxiety, guilt, grief, disappointment—these are the wounds from a broken world.
Do you wish you could reclaim a sense of peace, some clarity? Some certainty? Some comfort? You're not alone.
HERE'S YOUR PEACE
How does one find this peace?
According to the apostle Peter, "...through the knowledge of God."
This peace starts with clarity in God's Word, from knowing what it says. We find that clarity by taking seriously every word of the Bible.
Clarity leads to certainty in God's promises. The Bible isn't just a book of rules; it's a record of God's gracious intervention in history for the sake of man.
That certainty in God's rock-solid promises gives us comfort and peace.
HERE'S YOUR PROMISE
"Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord."
— 2 Peter 1:2
It's more than a wish; it's a reality.
God has dealt definitively with guilt, shame, and sin. He's also made plans to fix whatever is broken, bent or missing in our lives. And on this side of heaven, he wraps us with countless promises.

We invite children to take part in worship alongside adults, but there are moments when each of our little ones need a moment. For those moments, we have an unstaffed nursery where the service is streamed.
We are a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. To learn more about our national church body, click here.
At May River Lutheran, we follow a pattern of worship called a liturgy. That means that we use some of the same texts as the historic Christian church, as well as following a pattern of worship that centers on Christ and his promises.
Of course! There's no substitute for in-person worship, but, for the times we can't make it to worship or want to listen to a sermon again, you can find our services here.
